Option 1 $500 DEPOSIT Whole Cow Grain Finished $4.95 per lbs. hanging weight 750lbs-800lbs.

Hanging Weight or Dressed Weight is a weight the processor gives us after the animal has been killed, blood drained, head, hide, feet, entrails & organs removed. The hanging weight usually ranges 60%-64% of the live weight.

Take Home Weight is about 60% of the hanging weight. This % is an estimate. Each animal is slightly different in muscle and fat composition.

Example:

Live weight 1300lbs x 62% avg hanging weight % = 806lbs

Hanging Weight 806lbs x 60% avg take home weight % = 483.6 lbs vacuum packaged

Hanging Weight 806lbs. x $4.95/lb=$3989.70 approximately $8.25/lb Take Home Price

Approximately 425-475lbs vacuumed package
